| VdxSummary: | Freewheel, not a freehub |
Scope: This is an old "freelwheel" hub, not a freehub. He uses a freewheel removal tool (freewheels don't require a chain whip".
This video he starts by removing the cassette with a crescent wrench
- he measures how far the axle sticks out
- talks about spacers
1:46 You see the freewheel come off as one piece, and note there is no freehub or cassette
14:47
- uses a magnet to retrieve ball bearings

Relevance: Only one of my fleet had a freewheel, all others were upgraded to freehub/cassette hubs. My Miyata 1000 from 1986 had a freewheel, but I eventually replaced it with a newer wheel.
